Craig McDean

Craig McDean is a british fashion photographer, now based in New York.

I am amazed at what i have just discovered about Craig McDean and that is that he went to the same college as i do! (Mid Cheshire College) and his work is now regularly found in the likes of Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, i-D and The Face. For over 20 years he has shot campaigns for Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Armani, Gucci and more. I find his work facinating, a lot of his work is very dark and almost ambiguous. He is an extremely diverse photographer, who's work i find inspiring and influential.

this is my final garment on the first fashion show night :) very pleased!

mid cheshire fashion show 2010.

My new wedges :) topshop - wisteria £65, Frank Usher dress - found in Wilmslow, charity shop £10. Pictures taken in my back garden because im soooo adventurous! ha. edited on photobucket as i am not a good photographer or not a pro user of photoshop, although i should be!

So my dress is very nearly finished for the fashion show on thursday, so far so good, im happy. I have created these boned features using wadding, i think they are very effective and i have added some beading along the edges to make them stand out a little more.
