Sorry i've been such a terrible blogger! i now aim to update this a couple of times a week! so the college fashion show is approaching quickly so ill be showing you how my dress is getting on. My dress is based on anorexia so the panels that i have created using 'nude power net' and the strands of beading represent bones, altogether my design includes four different techniques to symbolise bones, including; panels, wadding, embelishment, and the fourth technique I have decided to expose the spine by including an open back piece. Picture three and four are of my sleeves that arent yet connected to me dress, i have created these panels by using a technique called 'reverse applique' and the embelishment is to add effect.
